DESCRIPTION:  \n \nGirls in Manufacturing Day is a one-day hands-on technical experience designed to empower and encourage girls\, in grades 7-12\, to consider careers in manufacturing. \nDuring this event participants will: \n\nLearn all stages of the manufacturing process\nUse tools and equipment to manufacture a project\nManufacture a project that they can take home\nMeet women leaders in the area who work in manufacturing.\n\nThis event is for students from Chautauqua Lake\, Brocton\, and Clymer.  Contact your school guidance counselor to attend. \nDream It Do It Western New York offers equal opportunity programming. While the Girls in Manufacturing program is focused on females the program is open to all genders. Women make up about 47% of the American workforce but only 30% work in manufacturing. DESCRIPTION:  \nRegistration now open!  Seats are limited.  Register today! \nOn behalf of Dream It Do It Western New York\, an initiative of the Manufacturers Association of the Southern Tier we invite you to participate in Manufacturing Mayhem Camp 2026. This event is for students in grades 8-12th\, generally students 13 years and older. Participants will learn about the manufacturing process\, tour a local manufacturer\, and create/manufacture a different project each day. Students participating get to build a project and take it home with them. Lunch will be provided. Participants also get a tee-shirt.
