Appalachian Regional Commission: Girls in Manufacturing Program

Dream It. Do It. WNY recently received a grant from the Appalachian Regional Commission to start a new program, Girls in Manufacturing. Collaborating with area schools and manufacturers, DIDI’s Girls in Manufacturing program is encouraging girls to expand their skills in science, technology, math, and the arts by introducing them to professional women in our area. Through tours, clubs, presentations, activities, camps and more, Girls in Manufacturing hopes to inspire girls ages 9 – 14 to consider a possible career in advanced manufacturing.  For more, please read the article from the
