On behalf of Dream It Do It, an initiative of the Manufacturers Association of the Southern Tier, we invite you to participate in TCAM Camp 2025.
This event is for Teachers, Counselors, Administrators and Manufacturers and will take place at the P-TECH Academy, located at 55 E. Benton Street, Dunkirk NY, 14048, on Friday, January 24th from 9:00 am -1:00 pm.
Lunch will be provided.
This camp is a fun and informative opportunity designed to provide you with content and context pertaining to exciting careers in manufacturing that are right here in our region. It offers educators and manufacturers the opportunity to network and discuss challenges and solutions.
For participants representing schools, this two-day program will provide you with information on the world of manufacturing that you can take back to your schools and classrooms.
The agenda includes:
The manufacturing process – an overview
Manufacture a rocket stove using cutting and welding equipment
PTECH Academy overview
Apprenticeship overview
Lunch and Dream It Do It Advanced Manufacturing Program (DIDIAMP) overview and discussion
There is no cost to participate in this event. Stipends are available to participating counselors and teachers.
