Girls in Manufacturing Camp 2025 at Chautauqua Lake Central School

Girls in Manufacturing is a one day hands-on technical experience designed to empower and encourage girls to consider careers in manufacturing!

During this event participants will:

• Learn all stages of the manufacturing process
• Use tools and equipment to manufacture a project
• Manufacture a project that they can take home
• Meet women leaders in the area who work in manufacturing.

This event is designed for girls 6-12th grades.

Dream It Do It Western New York offers equal opportunity programming. While the Girls in Manufacturing program is focused on females the program is open to all genders. Women make up about 47% of the American workforce but only 30% work in manufacturing. The focus of Girls in Manufacturing programming is to encourage more girls and women to consider careers in manufacturing.
