The 2020 Dream It. Do It. 500 is one of a kind!! This year, we have handed out over 300 kits to schools, teachers, club members, and young manufacturers. We still have more kits so if you are interested in designing, building, testing, racing, and selling a rubber band-powered car, please register here to get a DIDI 500 kit. Also, our Instructional Video will take you through the steps to design and build your car, while following our DIDI 500 rules. Work individually or in teams of two, three, or four – up to you! Thank you to our area schools, teachers, and parents for engaging our future manufacturers as well as members of MAST and the Ralph Wilson Foundation.
Dream it. Do It. Cattaraugus County has entered into a contest with Siemens Energy, creating a video about how DIDI is generating energy in our community. Please visit the Siemens Energy site and like our video! We have until December 11 to get the most likes! Thanks so much!

The 2020 DIDI Mfg Month in Cattaraugus County was celebrated in a similar fashion to National Mfg Day around the country – virtually! Area manufacturers shared virtual tours of their facilities along with video worksheets, hands-on activities, and interviews. CA-BOCES created a DIDI site where teachers and students have been able to access the videos and worksheets. If you don’t have a CA-BOCES account, please visit our DIDIWNY YouTube channel to view our videos (thank you John and Sydney!)
This year we had a wonderful Eaton YMA – at home! After consulting with students, parents, and teachers, Dream It. Do It. WNY created an at-home academy for 36 area students. Please view our final race-day video as well as an overview of the whole experience. Thank you again to everyone involved!
Enjoy our Dream It. Do It. We Can Do It! Video Series, Celebrating Women in Manufacturing. Discover the education and career pathways of area women, from engineers to IT specialists, who are enjoying careers in manufacturing right here in the Southern Tier.
