Designed for students in grades 8–12, this one-day event gives participants the opportunity to learn directly from skilled professionals while working with real machining equipment in a safe and engaging environment.
During this event, you will:
Experience the fundamentals of precision machining
Learn how raw materials are transformed into precision-engineered products
Safely use machining tools and equipment while creating your own project to take home
Discover how machining supports industries including aerospace, medical technology, automotive, defense, and advanced manufacturing
Meet local manufacturers, machinists, and industry professionals
Explore educational pathways, apprenticeships, certifications, and careers that lead to high-demand, high-paying jobs
Parents, grandparents, guardians, mentors, and teachers are encouraged to attend with their students to learn more about the rewarding opportunities available in today’s advanced manufacturing workforce.
