Eaton Young Manufacturers Academy
The Eaton Young Manufacturers Academy is a week-long project-based learning program that engages middle school and high school students and helps them discover the world of manufacturing. The academy focuses on the steps in the manufacturing process and helps students understand the importance of problem solving, communication and team work. Students meet with representatives from local manufacturers during the week and learn more about career opportunities in manufacturing. Students participating in the program work on projects throughout the week. The projects are designed to help the students apply the knowledge and skills they learn during the academy.
